Once again Mum has cherry picked the most perfect gifts everrrr, from her recent few days away with her boyfriend for an anniversary.
As we’re both fans of all things Cath Kidston she purchased this set of 3 dotty pouches in small, medium and large in a white and blue design. In addition to this, the cartoon/emoji unicorn pen, as yes I still LOVE unicorns at 22 and no I am not ashamed. Last but not least is the wax meltlet – my word for it 😂 in an enticing red raspberry scent that’s good enough to eat!!!
I hope you like these pictures and have a fab weekend ✨

Happy 1st December guys!
First things first – I just want to say thank you to my fabulous Mum for this lovely birthday treat. 💕💕💕
Although my birthday is the 15th we decided to go on the 10th as we could spend quality time together at the weekend before both of us got more busy in the week ahead.
Mum picked me up from my workplace and in her true whimsical, musical Lara world – whacked on some 80’s tunes she knew we both loved and sang her heart out as we headed to Liverpool together for the night.
Upon arrival, Mum then presented me with some red wine for us to share (having paid for the hotel already as my present) before unpacking and us then heading out to the centre.
The shops did not disappoint as we enjoyed girlie time mooching around together through Liverpool One etc, then we both got a little pot from Hotel Chocolat to have later on with our wine. Not long after I found a beautiful skirt from warehouse I fell in love with which I bought then whilst browsing the coats section ( mines donkeys years) we found a lovely vibrant coat from River Island which Mum decided to buy for me as an additional birthday present which was super super kind of her as I was gonna wait til December to buy myself.
Upon returning to the hotel it was a slight mad dash to get dressed and ready for our meal booked at 7 seeing as we had 15 mins to go when we got back to the room 🙈 But once downstairs we headed to the dining area and ordered a cocktail each 👌 a Pina Colada for Mum and a Long Island Iced Tea for myself!! MMM YES PLEASE. Tea itself was just as enticing and tasty as expected; I loved the twist of pairing the mozzarella cheese and pesto with pears, in comparison to the usual tomatoes combo the new, sweeter flavour incorporated worked surprisingly well. My main was just as pleasing and I also loved the chocolate torte dessert.
The decor of the hotel was beautifully rustic and original, with a simplistic yet effective colour palette and to be expected nautical themes running throughout after all it is the TITANIC hotel 😂🛳⚓️
The next morning we headed back to the shops for a wander and a coffee then got some Christmas presents sorted whilst there. It was a breezy but not too chilly morning and we had a fab time. Thank you Mum,Love Lottie x
What better way to kick off the autumn months than by seeing a show with a heart warming storyline.
The FlashDance production tour group did a stellar job of capturing the energetic, hip thrusting, get ya feet moving routine just as performed in the film scenes. So here’s a bite size part of our night ✨ hope you like x
Anyone who knows me and my Mum know that we can never resist a good Costa stop off 🙈 it’s too tempting!!
After gathering some bits and bobs from the shops we had time to spare before the car park ticket ran out so had a little stop off to warm ourselves up ( and have a cheeky treat ).
My carrot cake slice was to die for, along with the Earl Grey tea! Plus you can be rest assured my Mum enjoyed her choc crispie , along with one of my sisters finding her smoothie equally delicious.
Mum has been away for a few days this week on a mid week get away and returned this afternoon. As a re-union/welcome back meal my Mum, sisters and I headed out to town so Mum didn’t need to cook.
Although I actually only remembered to take two pictures, we all very much enjoyed our meals even though I didn’t remember to photograph the others food. ( Just due to me enjoying it so much, which is technically a compliment to the restaurant 😂 )
For my starters I had buffalo mozzarella cheese drizzled with pesto, served with piccolo tomatoes. My main was the American classic pizza – very scrumptious – washed down with San Pelligrino sparkling water.
Plenty of smiles all around 😊
